报告题目：Numerical solution of fuzzy differential equations

It is well known that differential equations are in general the backbone of variety of physical systems and these systems are modelled either by ordinary or partial differential equations. For simplicity or for easy computation, involved coefficients and variables are considered usually as deterministic or exact. Solution of the differential equations with deterministic coefficients and variables may be handled either by analytical or numerical methods. But in actual practice, we may have only the vague, imprecise, insufficient or incomplete information about the variables and parameters due to error in observation and experiment etc., which are uncertain in nature. As such, it is an important issue to model these uncertainties for different physical problems. In this presentation I will present some analytical and numerical solution of fuzzy differential equations.
Dr. Smita Tapaswini is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University in India and is also Post-Doctoral Fellow at the College of Mathematics and Statistics at Chongqing University in China. She has received her Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha, 769 008, India on January 2015. She has been awarded Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF), under University Grant Commission (UGC), Government of India and also qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in the year 2011. Her research interests include fuzzy differential equations, fuzzy fractional differential equations and numerical analysis.
